Finally met Randy Rabe....Parkers Dad

We had a job in Tampa last week and stopped in to see Parker. Parker has always talked about how his dad used to race, build boats, etc....however, I never knew that he was truely "The Man". I got the opportunity to watch old race videos and flip thru hundreds of photos when his dad held many World Champion titles, plus I got to see Parker when he was little waving his nubby finger around. It was pretty damn cool. Randy Rabe truely is a legend and a hell of a nice guy.

lee thanks for all the kind words about dad he had a blast with everyone - he was sorry he didn't have enough toilet paper to accomodate your nasty ass - but maybe next time. hope your feeling better - for real we had a blast , i just wish u could of saw more - we went to the undertow with jason, fish, mr. fun and mrs. fun and brent, john insoft, , it was all just a blurr,and we missed ya - hurry back -

i brought him to brendan powers to watch the dyno run on saturday , man what a site ? so trick to see an s3000 wide open , we got some killer video , brendan is such a nice guy!, to give us a tour of his shop , my dad was speechless !, it really feels good to get old RABCO back inthe swing of the hi performance world !:) :) :) , hats off to brendan

I heard Lee got a touch of Montezumas Revenge ! I gotta see some of those videos and pics . You ever notice Parker never takes ANY pics at any of the gatherings ? Parker , get a camera and follow Dad's lead with the pics !

I've known Randy since I was about 4 years old... he is da man. World championships (racing and building), took Reggie Fountain on his first offshore powerboat ride (guess it got him a little hooked huh? ;) ), chicks, party, drove the he** out of anything on the water... and he is still da man today. In the past year I've seen him take two different boats over 100+ just hopping in and giving it a shot, then later that day drive a bar-stool go cart 8 miles to the undertow bar to hang out.. wonder where Parker gets it? :p LOL

That was a great time parker, thanks. It was good to see you alive the next morning at brendan's too! LOL:D :p BTW, pics coming hopefully tonight from that trip to NASA of the performance boating world!

The mans one of the best performance boat builders ever.IMO I love the photos that Parker posted of the multi outboard offshore boats.I've never met him but have always admired him for his contribution to the powerboat racing,One of the best.I want another Streaker.:D
