what in the world arent they trying to sell us something
why would anyone pay for your whole family to just look at boats
now i didnt ask if that came with a beer and a burger
lol
i quess they have to pay rent some how
ill keep my $ 24.00

How the hell do you think the hall makes money? It ain't just from the costs of the booths! The more people show up, the more work the janitors have to do, etc. If the tickets were cheaper, the booths would be more, and there would be fewer "local" dealers and more super-dealers with their snooty mega-yachts.
Detroit has a big boat show, but not much performance stuff because the dealers won't travel AND pay the astronomical booth fees that the Cobo Hall show charges.

yea i knew that seems i read about a huge rent amount some years back
im a local business owner
i have never had to pay they all new me any how
but not this time

There are 3 boat and Sport shows that come to KC every year...they are all $8-12. And the only fastboats there are 38ft long and not outboard powered.
