Ok guys I have heard over the past few years that you guy would like to run supersport but with 200 or 225 not the 150s So do we have any intrest in running either the real supersport or a mod. version maybe? I think it could be very fun and bring some new blood to the ring of racing. I know this has been hashed over year after year but what is stopping up from doing it? Maybe not a offical race but get a small grass roots thing going. Lets see what you guys have to say.
7 grand Dan
dan, I ahve been on the periphery of getting into it for a little while now. I fact, I was interested in buying your boat before you got it to possibly get into the sport, but everyone I talked to seemd to be saying that it is dying off. I did not want to make the commitment of money to a rig and have no place to race it. I know danny has put a ton of work into getting this off the ground over the past few years, but where is it heading? I think there are others like me that would like to race in a class like this and I am glad you are trying to find out where the support lies. I can't say I am committed, but I am much more than casually interested.

That sounds very interesting. Please elaborate a little bit more on the specs and the rules, no details, just basics... Boat size, engine size and types, weights, handicaps, etc... Been looking for something like this, make sure you name the class something that will draw spectators and open the wallets of sponsors....

Hello Kimswang,
Basics are: 18'3" minimum boat length-standard 150H.P. low emission 20"
shaft engine,(must meet current APBA / OPC saftey rules, and 1600# minimum
weight... Class name is "Super-Sport"...we are not gonna expect to attract
much "sponsorship" just yet since we are just getting started. Much like
sports-car racing doesn't fill the bleachers at many auto tracks....but the racers
have a GREAT TIME being out there running....We will be out there RUNNING:D
