I heard alot of good stuff about this site from the guys over at ClassicSeacraft.com. Decided to sign up.
Years ago I had a '69 Chrysler Conqueror with a 115 on it. The boat was fast unfortunatly I shook it apart running on Long Island Sound.
Fast forward 20 years I feel the need for speed again. Would love to find a 16 Donzi any condition. Good to be here.

Hey Bryan, welcome to scream and fly. I like your taste in boats, big dinzi fan myself. Here is one my dad and I restored for my mom as a surprise.

there are not a lot of them around. I looked for almost 2 years at everyone that popped up trying to find one in decent shape. It might take a while, but it is worth it when you find a good one. BTW, there is another member on here who posts under the name Buizilla. He has a 16 project donzi he is redoing right now.. going to have some pretty serious power hanging off the back, but that is all I am allowed to say right now. :D
welcome to S&F,

Welcome to S&F Bryan!
I really like the Donzi"s as well, and see a few on boatrader.com from time to time.
Fish, that sweet 16 turned out awesome and your mom looks very happy!
Great job!
Da hamma, thanks for the compliment, it was a lot of work, but it came out better than we expected and my mom loves it.
Thanks stoney, she does love it. My dad promised her one since the early 70's when we had to sell one we had briefly to pay bills. Nice to help him keep a long overdue promise.

Thanks Bryan, I appreciate it. There are also a couple other threads on outboard donzi classics located here.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys and gals. When I say any condition about that Donzi 16 I really mean any condition. As long as the hull is somewhat sound I can work with it. Great Forum!
