Great day of mid week boating yesterday!!! 80 degrees, partly sunny/cloudy skies, nobody else on the water.....just me, my son, my Pulsare 2100, a full tank of gas and a thirsty Merc 225Xri to drink it!!!!! Had quite a few 72MPH blasts up and down the intercoastal waterway in North Palm Beach. (through the 25 mph zones:eek: ) I even got a wave from the marine patrol while idling through a no-wake zone. (glad he didn't see me earlier!!!):D

that sounds nice, but over here in La. last week we had a lot of rain. I live on the Catahoula Lake and the water is 3 feet above normal covering about 30 feet into my back yard. rainin again today and calling for a lot of it. neighbors warf under water. house is safe though, it would have to rise about 8 feet higher just to get to concrete patio

As Jupiter said, 80 plus everyday lately down here. Unusually warm this whole season, as I see it is, in the rest of the country. I'd say global warming is finally catching up to us! Would love to move up to the Jupiter/Tequesta/Hobe Sound area, just can't justify the taxes after the move. One of the nicest inlets & the most beautiful boating water around, that is for sure.:D AirRide

Hey AirRide, you need to come up for a weekend of cruising. I may take sunday off to spend on the water!Take Sunday off? You must be in retailing? Arn't you in F & I or sales, at a car dealership? Which dealer? It is SO nice up there, I just might give in & pay the big jump in real estate taxes that it would cost the wife & I. Every time I think of how beautiful the crystal blue waters of Jupiter Inlet are, at high tide, it gives me the itch.:) AirRide

If this global warming thing keeps up, eventually I might have a warm winter, it's currently 30 deg and snowing here.

Step out the backdoor, onto the Polaris snowmobile and run 120mph across the frozen lakeor through the trails. Meet up with a bunch of friends and have a big bonfire on 18" of ice while the backhoe clears the ice for the windsail races. Just as the sled gets boring it's time to pull out the freshened up boat.:p
Warm weather is great but winters can be some badass fun to. Makes boating alot more fun also when summer comes around, and nothing is more fun than ATV'ing in the North Country mountains.;)
