Cheryl is off Sat - Monday for the first time and we were going to head to the Keys but after looking at $$$$ we said  :( :o , reality set in.
We may head to Capt. Hirams ....http://hirams.com/ Sat or Sun.
This is where we went last weekend in the ficsh bote. Right on the edge of the IntraCoastal with a sand bech to pull boats up on and a 20' walk to the Tiki Bar. They always have live music (outside) and is one of our favorite places.
The islands we hung at last weekend are 1/4 mile from bar. Ramp 1/2 mile away.
One of the islands has a large natural inlet that would hold a bunch of boats, and another one another 1/4 mile South that doesn't appear to be as popular/busy and has a nicer beach also very protected.
I just finshed re-rigging the motor on the STV and need to break it in. Could/can take either boat if anyone is interested.
We were toying with camping on one of the islands and gettin stupid at the bar for New Years Eve.
Sebastian is next town South of Melbourne on East Coast.
Let me know if anyone is interested.

Have been to the inlet and back several times but never North.
Christmas day it was ROLLING through the inlet from the ocean
Very neat area though. We'll see. Only problem is which boat to bring.
I'll vote for one and she'll vote for the other ;)
Can't blame her though. Dog and all our junk fit it one boat and not the other :p
They have had some killer bands on the beach at Hirams.
Eithter of you guys been to "Earls Hideaway" just South of Hirams on same road?? More where th4e locals hang out. Very neat court yard outboack.
Then their's the Tiki Bar across street on water too :p
I usually come home from Sebastion a bit hazy

You can see long point from the riverside entrance of the inlet approx 1 mile north, I use to ride my wave blaster over to hiram's and listen to bands at the sand bar, long point has a boat ramp and campsites on the water also showers, just talking about it makes me want to go over there again, Matt

We actually had a run planned for the 28th or 29th, were going to go from Ft. Pierce Inlet to Hiram's for lunch and back. Changed plans and just ran around the St Lucie basin instead.

AMAZING!
Pulled boat right up on camp site. Ramp was 5 or 6 spots down.
Had a foot bridge over canal to a small uninhabitted island for fishing/picnics etc.
Rode my mountain bike down to Sebastion Inlet which was also gorgeous. Watchced them surf and am now in search of a beater surf board :D
Was a couple of nice mountain bike trails around the lagoons and also a completly canopied trail though the woods.
We also figured out that with a little creativity we could hit 3 bars by boat too.
Was a great time, Y'all missed it.

It is a great place to camp, I cant wait to go back, some people put campers there and leave for a couple of months and it is like having a beach house, just pay rent for site and go when you can get off, Matt
