Got paid to build some intakes for some customers overseas. Just though you might like to see the first one. Going to make a few changes but its going to look about like it does now. The first 3 will fit stock ETEC's and then we will make them for injectors in the front.
THANKS FOR THE BEST YEAR MAD EFI HAS EVER HAD.

Sorry about your dad Greg lost my Dad last year on the 28th of Dec. you will alway miss him if your like me I was lucky to have him as long as I did.

You know Gator - I have tried to make Wayne see the light and quit wasting his time on you OMC guys but he just seems to think there is hope in those with such dedication to an iffy cause.

I guess I will just have to give up and join ya'll. The V8 is back on the front burner.

evinrude's bragging about the upgrades they made with the e-tech,n i'm thinking that injection was one of them,i understand horespower gains (as far as bolt ons n machine work goes)mad's definitly gonna be the way to go,and as far as the mad intake itself goes, thats a major upgrade in itself, but, how does that work anyway,i'm thinking you can re-program the e.m.m. for heads n whatnot, right?

I should clear that up. The V8 is on Wayne's table now. I did all the scrounging I could. The Warlock and the Eagle are on my burner with Gean lighting the fire with a blow torch.

This is the year that all our boating projects get completed 100%. Or so she says.

not to be a smart ass but I thought you could not touch a green motor, how do you get around that

why can't you touch a green motor? Until they start doing inspections and emmission requirement tests on all marine engines why can't they be modded by the owner? True they have to be emmission compliant from the factory, but after that... who knows? Also, etec front halfs don't necessarily have to go on etec blocks and mids... just a more efficient injection system for john-rudes?

must meet factory emission spec.

True, they do not have a way or infrastructure to test yet and who knows if and when.

Most of us are not considering modifying e-techs, what we want is an e-tech 3.3 liter block and front half to build the **** out of then bolt on to our 1995 mid sections.

Assume if testing ever comes up your specs would be determined by model/serial number on mid not power head.

Similar to putting an '07 small block Chevy motor in a '67 deuce. Only needs meet emission specs from '67 ;)

I know of a dealer that got put out of business for changing the carbs on motors. He was selling the smaller motor which is cheaper then selling the larger carbs to make the motor bigger that was the only difference in HP. The EPA came in and traced all the paperwork to who the motors were sold to and what was bought and changed, the owners had receits from the dealer where they installed the carbs, which is illeagle. Just don't want to see any one else get into trouble

once they find out that theres money in fines and everone is changing emission product, they will find the resources to collect that money! If you race only, in a sanctioned event emissions are not required

Dear Mr. Trash, I have known you be to "finishing-up" your projects for over 20 years. I have diagnosed the problem as the "Wild Eye" syndrome. Yes, one eye is indeed focused on what you are working on; the problem is that the other one is always wondering-off to something more "new and "exciting". You current pledge leaves me somehow, unimpressed.:)

OK Prof OB, get up off my ass.

If you would have made the trip and given me some help all this would have been done years ago. But no --- you have to sit in your classroom and play with all of those whaky ideas, remember the frozen turkey cannon?

Having said that I can agree that I think you put your finger on my problem. Another new one came to the shop yesterday (my birthday, thanks for forgetting). Call me and we will discuss it.
