What's a Fastcat? Looks like a bass boat? Where'd the bottom design come from?
Congrats, good number!

Kinda like a bass/flats/bay boat deck lay out....really does not "look" like a conventional mono hull bass boat. True cat hull no pod....20'3 long 8'6 wide....

103 .with 300X Why not? A 21' Liberator with a center pod can do it.

that boat weighs approx 1200 llbs. they are making them about 400 to 500 hundred lighter, by fuzion and vacum bag process should run will over a 100 with this set-up.

Maybe they need to do a new test. Thier test shows 83 mph with a 300x.

There test was with a 2004 boat at 2300 # . Sounds like they make them lighter now. Pretty spendy boat. I seen a comment that they are 66k new with motor.

Well, I'll say one thing for it. It's very, very buoyant if it will float with one of those pig Verados on it.
Looks like a pretty nice boat except for the helm being at near 90*. :)

He said 2400 lbs. I would just like to see the recall.
Sounds very doubtful to me at 2400 lbs.
Pyro- a 21 liberator can do it with one person in the boat anthey don't weigh anything near 2400 lbs.
Their own test shows 83......now they are running 103.
Sorry Little John, I don't have that much faith.

Osprey, this thread was started, not to brag about, but simply state that a boat that weighs EXACTLY,2580lbs,certified weight slip, must have a pretty good if not great hull design, and is all ORIGINAL,I might add. This hull in no way is the fastest hull on this site, but will run with any bass boat, flats boat or any other fishing boat around, and will out preform them in rough water,PERIOD...This thread was started only to congradulate me, for a goal finally achieved after 4 years,of testing, research, many hundreds of miles, spending countless dollars, and the help of many people,Brent ,Joe,Jerry, and most of all Erroll Lanier who probally has more time working on this boat than I do driving it.Without him all these things would not have been possible, so If anybody deserves this congrats it would probally be him.So Osprey,if you dont think this boat will run these numbers,go to the bank, get some money,LOTS, and we will make you a believer....................... Thanks Mike.

Osprey, you are asking me why i am so neg? The question is why are you so neg? Have you actually ridden in my boat, or any fastcat? I doubt you have because,if you did you wouldnt have bought that Talon. There was 3 other Fastcats at RR2 all 3 were running over 90mph, 2 of them w/ 250,s 1 w/ 300, all these guys have fairly new boats, and soon will find a better set up.Did you happen to see brents purple fastcat at rr 1 last year, it ran easily over 122mph w-twins? ....

I'm saying one thing......POST SOME GPS NUMBERS!!!
Is that such a terrible thing to ask??
I wouldn't have bought a FastCat if it went 150, it doesn't hold enough people for me. Doesn't mean it isn't a nice boat. I thought that they were bad-ass boats, I just didn't imagine 103 on a 2500lb cat w/a single 300x.
Sounds high to me and anyone that has owned a 21 Skater.

.
Not a terrible thing to ask at all!!!! Neither is asking you to go to the bank and get your money out!! I can tell ya right now once he runs it, you will be going home without your money!! I have been there and seen the speeds, these boys are proud of their boats and don't have to inflate the #ers..
2400# don't mean squat when it is floating on air!!!
I would also like to be there for a beer afterwards:D Louis
