Hey guys, my friend just bought a 98 allison 2003XB and is saying his 225 promax is too loud. It is drilled out in the mid in the bottom ontop of the L/U. What can i do to silence this. Plug them im guessing? the can has been dropped out of it. And... are the exhaust ports in the middle of the mid relief/overflow holes for the cooling system? alot of questions i know. but the help is GREATLY appreciated!
Thanks
Will

If the intake area on the cowl has been modified you can get a lot of noise there too. I doubt this has much to do with the noise but worth checking.

I doubt it was because of the noise. They were just jealous of his big johnson:p

U kan take a 1" X 6" X 1/8th" piece ov aluminium, and 5200 it over the holes...Once the 5200 dries, it'z ther till U want it off!!!....Juss cleen around the holes wit laquer thinner, and do tha 5200 tune up.....Unless you have dry stacked the mid, the water pump won't know tha differnce......Quick, and permanant, and easily undun when ya git bored wit tha quiet!!:D
