How About A Test/Shootout

We talked about this on another site and it got some good talk.The hydro tec yammi ran 105 on a stroker bassboat but it didn't have a fishing load or trolling mota.The simon ran 103.1 on the same kind of bassboat and it did have a fishing load and troller which puts the speeds close to the same (IMO).Both ran on pump gas and are pretty tame motors at idle.What if there were identical hulls,bassboat or any other hull. Simon builds one of his and hydro tec builds one of theirs.A freindly shootout.Both motors are super good motors and both come with good warranty(1 year on both).Might be a good test for Bass and Walleys magazine:cool:

Just curious , whos gonna up a core engine and PAY for these "test" motors to be built?

Jay i don't know but thats not the question.If someone would agree to air this i'm sure they both would come up with something.Simon has already been contacted and said he would be interested.

We already have 2 strokers with both motors on them.If noone buys into it we'll probably do our own test some kind of way.
