Damn Jim, that is gonna be crazy. I know you know this, but those have some quirky handling tendencies, keep the wet side down alright?

I thought this might get some good class discussion, I guess I missed some school days...

The Promax has a self-contained fuel loop, including its own pulse pump and high pressure electric pump on-board. As long as everything is in working order, this motor shouldn't need an additional fuel pump.

Carb motors use their own pulse pump, but an electric low-pressure pump will flow more fuel volume on a modified motor if needed.

240bp/260/280/Drag, etc. motors use an external fuel pump and a separate return line

I got a modified ProMAx. I dumped the stock Fuel system and mounted an on board Bosh 979 pump. Mounted an adjustable regulator with return line. I opted for the additional fuel pressure/delievry due to the mods Plus, I hated the stock junk under the hood, dumped the pulse pump, water seperator, oil injection, oil tank.
The Bosh 979 pumps will run enough fuel to keep up with my needs, but they need a pre filter and after filter. I use the Areomotive 40 micron high capicity/high flow as a pre filter and a K&N 10 micron filter before the injectors.

good feedback............

how many of you still use the anti-siphon valve in the tank outlet fitting?? they sure seem restrictive as hell.....
