For those out there that have played with both the 1.8 litre and 2.0 litre V4 loopers, which one is a better platform to do some add-ons?

Also I want to remove the rev limiter, or at least up it. It's a '87 V4 120. Any quick ways of doing it? I have an extra power pack. Is there something u can do to the power pack?

Thanks for the help,

Matt

Yes you can go into the pack and remove the limiter but I would leave that to someone who has done it.

Rumor has it that a few select people know exactly where to drill a hole in the packs to destroy a specific component within that disables the limiter.

We did the drilling but the packs didn't seem to last very long. Maybe just coinciedence. You could get CDI to make packs with the limiter where ever you wanted it. Or not at all. Or go to the 1988 style ignition and just unhook the wires.

No you need to change more than the pack to run an 88 up when you have a prior ignition.

I can remove the limiter on your existing pack for 40.00
