it's rough out here(even at times)in my vegas it takes driving skills.,could just chill n lok for flat spots in it though, fun man, just get some nads.
I would like to make the nationals next year.I have to get all my safety gear i sold everything i had back in 95 so i have to start all over again.I will build a trailer this winter for it.Mark75H,I would really like to run Formula e with it.Can you give me any advice as to which engine would be the best to run.I remember when i was racing a guy by the name of Tim Kurz had a FE hydro with a sst45 engine on it and it ran pretty good.I was leaning towards a sst45 engine but i have been out of it for a while.Any info on the E runabout class is appreciated. Thanks

Without a doubt THE Formula E motor is the 3 cylinder 49 ci OMC. Other motors are legal, but it is pretty much king of the hill. I have seen a few 45ss motors and 45ss based motors run and it takes tremendous mods to make one a front runner in FE.
Tim's current project is a 4 carb front for 44ci Mercs in FE. It hasn't been tested yet, so the results aren't known.
APBA did away with D Mod and renamed E, so now it is called D Mod. There are some guys that run a lot faster than others, but I don't know what their secrets are other than just good engine building work.
