Is there any standard procedure to running a motor after it had been fogged and stored? Should the fog oil be flush from the block? I am sure the carbs will need cleaning. Any advice will help.
Thanks!

It takes a while before the motor runs clean, but I don't think you need to do any prep before running it. That's the whole purpose of fogging.

I usually use the omc engine tuner then change the plugs.

Don't put fresh plugs in until after it runs for an hour or so...
Add a little Mercury Quickleen to the tank and you should be alright!

my understanding was always to just fire it up next year, this is the perpose of using fogging spray, it dosen't have any adverse effects on carbs ect.
