1990 Stv Ski comp setup

I have a friend with a 1990 Ski comp. I think it is a Pro-comp ,but he says ski-comp. It does have race hull on the back of transom, but I don't know a lot about Stv's. He is looking for the best setup advice. He has two motors he runs on it. A Wilber Weeks Omc 235 and A Taylor marine 225 looper. He is looking for Jack plate, set back and height to start with. Right now it does not have a jackplate and the looper was setting about 1/2 below the pad. His best speed last summer was 95 on gps. The boat acts like it wants to hook when coming down around 75-80mph. Both motors are 25" mids, the looper has a lightning gearcase.

Any advice will be great!
