Hey guys, I am looking for a source for the chrome striping that goes on the top and bottome side of the cowl wrap on the old inline 6 engines. I have a piece of the original but have not had any success matching it yet. Can you guys tell me where to find it??

When i was in Modeling ( plastic and reisen cars)
Not Modeling on the cat walk!!

We got crome decal sheet from Model store.
They could also get it in roles!

It's very very thin.

We would use it for making crome trim on cars then clear coat to seal it.

People who do duck work use aluminim duck tape, maybe?

I hope this helps

Go to a vinyl sign shop. The stuff Merc used was made by 3M, but it's available in other brands. The guys with printers use it to make stickers.
