Been done before. There is no great advantage to it other that looks. The parasitic drag of the extra blower does nothing for performance. Looks neat sounds neat, makes a hell of a blind spot :p. And chevy in a GTO.....blasphemy, the least he could have done was call up Jimmy Butler for a real motor. And man could you imagine a nitrous sneeze, parts they be a flying. The car looks incredible though.

Yea, nobody's ever put a chevy motor in a Pontiac before..:D

I guess if he wants different, he sure got that. It sort looks like one of those "odd rod" cartoon cars from the 60's...

That thing gives a helluva impression, and an informative humble owner is always good... I may be on the wrong angle, but putting blowers in series seems to be an unproductive arrangment... If they were set up in parallel and boosting the same plenum at least you would have the huge volume of airflow, but I don't see how anything would come from stacking them..? I'd hate to see the hood if that belt ever decides to jump the fence...

heyuck yuck yuck, hey yall watch this!!!

Does that clown have any idea what a restored 70 GTO WOULD bring if it hadn't been hacked up (or should that be jacked up?) in the trailer park???

He needs to be beat with a rubber hose,

Interesting show piece, cause that's what it really is.
I think if he got rid of those blowers and went with something like a 12 or 14-71, he might get more looks and respect to go with it.
At least he's enjoying it though, and that's what some stuff's all about.

or he could put twin hairdryers on it with a flat hood, make 2000hp and not be an attention whore (a nice 70 goat gets enough attention on its own).

but I digress, even to get that thing running like that is an accomplishment, and definitely something you don't see everyday. first thing I thought about was the Ed-roth cartoons. cut the roof off, put a 10' tall rat with a 6' hurst shifter in there and he would be set. :D

Actually, it's considered a compound setup. Lets say 6psi from the first blower, then if the second is set for another 6psi, since it's starting with 6psi to start with, you end up with compound boost.

Rumor has it one of them is gutted and just for show.

I wouldnt know why, compound setups have been used like that since the beginning of supercharging. just maybe not on top of an engine other than a diesel.

hell, maybe he got a deal on just a case and figured "wtf, at least it'll look cool" :D

Now, I am not a gearhead by any stretch of the imagination, someting with that much horsepower, and ftlbs, wouldn't that be pretty hard to keep on the track??? Just asking??
