This is a shot of my 1952 Mercury KG9 "25hp" (I actually own more mercurys than OMCs;) ) 40 CID but rated at 25hp... No wonder the 33hp OMCs never had a chance. This motor was king of the hill for its time. My first restoration 11 years ago. Runs Perfect but proudly hangs here in my basement.:cool:

THat thing is sweet! Anyone have any old hydrostream pics? THere is one on the IHR. Just curious to see if there is anymore out there> THis is a great new section to an already great site!!

Laker that is really nice but now show the good stuff some of them omcs. If I had a camera I could show you a sweet v-6. Thanks for the pictures. Delawarerick

Hydro but snuffed it for a 35 Rude.

Kinda miss that old plopper........:(

almost as nice, ran it on a boat that Freddie Hauenstien gave me when I was a kid. Someone stole the thing!

Man that KG 9 is a beaut. I owned one like it ! Ran a 6v Bendix elec. fuel pump on it to eliminate problems with original. Ran it on a 12ft. plywood kit boat & it would fly for its day ! I 'd love to find one restorable. C'Picker
