I've seen that before and I wonder how they do it. You can't really drive a race kart on the street -- they don't have any ground clearance. A manhole cover would break the sprocket and brake rotor, a speed bump taken at anything over 10 mph could kill you.. Maybe they put on big wheels or something..??? It's still a cool video...

I was grinnin like a Jackass eatin bryers thru a barbed wire fence during the whole video............I would LOVE To do that, but I bet it was kinda scary around bigger cars/trucks though........and at those speeds.............

He was passin the crap out of those cars at highway speeds........wonder how fast he got up to ?

With such limited ground clearance I can't think of a BETTER place for a cart like that than the interstate! ;) :D

We use to hit the open streets on some pretty tough 4-wheelers during the late night hours, but nothing quite as edgy as a shifter cart... I had a couple of 4-wheeler Buddies that We would call the Cops on to watch and listen to them chase Him around awhile, they never ever caught them that was funny as hell...

The kart video reminds me of living on a fairly busy stree when in junior high. I had a kart that would do about 55-60. One night the folks went to pick up somebody at the airport and I decided to take a little cruise back and forth to impress a couple buddies. It was about 9PM. I tokk off and went about a quarter mile. On the return run, I drove by the house flat out and Dad was standing in the front yard.:eek: :eek: They'd forgot something and had to come back to the house. That called for an azz whuppin'.
