hello, i have just purchased in the dark a 1969 20ft bertram and after geeting home i discovered the bottom only has 100's of little little half moon circles about like the end of a finger nail shape they are randon along the bottom, i poped one with the edge of knife blade and it poped out a piece of gel coat about dime size ....any clues whats happened here...tried to photo but can get good enuff results to post...thanks

That is called osmodic (osmosis) blistering. Try a Google search on the subject, not difficult to fix, just lots of work.

My Pantera has the same thing, it is from air bubbles under the glass when they hand laid the hull into the mold.

Looks like some dry laminate. Sometimes if the skin out layer is not wet out properly and is completely kicked when addition lay up is performed you have very dry areas of laminate directly beneath the gel coat. The structure of the boat is intact but over time you see these types of problems. Also the boat is never going to like being left in the water.
