well i picked up the t3 on sunday morning and took it for a run. with the 225 johnson and a 27 performance prop.it only ran 86mph. i was hard on the limiter and had to be backing off pretty hard..this big johnson just aint for me..i removed it today and repowered with my new 300xs. i will be running it this weekend to breakit in and see how it runs.. should be a rocket..:D:D:D

Are these by wire or do you still run cables?

thanks guy's for all the nice words. i just got back from putting a couple of hour's on the motor. guy's this motor is sweet, it very quiet, idles like a dream, smooth power from the bottom all the way up. i havent gotten to open her up yet, but from what i can tell it's going to bee wicked. our first run was 58 miles. with a 33pet (wrong prop for this boat) i went thru 8.5-9 gal of fuel. fuel economy is awesome. i got about 6.5 miles per gall.:eek: i would of gone thru double that with the 300x. i'll keep everyone posted on speed's when i get the setup dialed in. i need to try some cleaver prop's 14.5/32p or 34 pitch. let me know if you have any ... thanks rick

this motor has loa's of low end power, i had a 300x on my liberator before the change to the 300xs, with the same prop (28 trophy)it has a faster hole shot and ripp's the 28 to the limiter..
