Poll....To Winterize or Not to Winterize in North Carolina???

Ok guys, you guys have been helpful about telling how to winterize my 115 merc but I am curious how many of you do and how many don't winterize their boats for the colder months....I won't really call it winter. I know there are lots of members in the NC/SC area and just want to know what you guys do. So respond back and tell me what each of you do down in this area.

I was asking the NC and SC guys, heck sometimes we have rally nice days in November and December....the lakes don't freeze here and if you like cool boating you could go all year. I was taking a poll on who does and doesn't winterize in NC and SC.

im not from NC or SC but if the lake doesnt freeze and if u like cool rides then dont winterize it. Just run 1 or 2 tanks a month. If its extremly cold one month then put on some extra layers and take it out.

Yes!!! Put the boat in a heated garage OR NO, get a winter home in Florida.

I don't, but if I have to leave it outside, I will put a light up under the dash, cause I have had speedo's and waterpressure gauges freeze up and the needle wont sit on zero anymore.

Usually I keep mine in the garage, but the Hydrostream re-core job has run over, and it is blocking the garage.

i don't think my boat has ever been in one peice during the winter months! i do service the l/u grease all the fittings and run stablizer thru my whaler that way i can still run it when i get a wild hair up my a$$.
