What is the best rpm to turn this motor for best top speed. It has relieved and dry stacked exhaust, inner exhaust liner removed, other wise it's stock.Currently , I have the Torque shift prop set to run @ 5200 rpm.Should I adjust for higher rpm i.e. less pitch, or lower rpm i.e. more pitch.Want to limit "experimentation'' Thanks B.T.

OMC recommended up to 5500 for that engine and up to 5750 for the 235
You should go at least to 5500. I'd guess 6000 should be safe for your money.

I wouldn't turn it over 5800 if it were me. You need to have it where you turn max rpms lightly loaded, so it stays in the right range when loaded.
