hi. james I beleive early to mid 1970s apparently 2 vershions 20in, and 15in.shafts the 20 was a stock family engine painted orange for shock identity power trim tilt was option.15 was more for fe v bottom and se tunnels stock class competition warmed over powerhead and smaller gear case I think 2 to 1 ratio this turned a smaller dia. prop faster no trim available different bracket[everything to keep weight down. the 15"stingers and merc. 700xs had to be production rated to public [ to qualify as stock production 50 cu.. in. class] in my opinion 3cyl. omc,s were one of omc s,best engine builds for the times. thanks.

This is SCT's engine.

And it will take more than any 1500.00 to buy it!

It's not for sale.

But a good one is worth more.

HI.The short shaft is very desirable depending on condition sorry I think price would be dictated by purchesers wants ask best offer and you may have much interest. BIG AL presented a great example nice rig. good luck thanks .
