I was actually working on my boat yesterday...:o

I was intalling my newused tanks in the sponsons (super pain in the butt!). As I put them into place, I notice that the deck was at least 1 inch lower on one side than the other, making it almost impossible to put them in........This happen because a brace was not in place...I think....I beat a board I had cut to size under the gunnel to hold it up....was super tight. Was afraid it would start fracturing the glass.

I was told to leave it in place for about a week and the tension would go away......Will this work?

Does anyone know how to get rid of this black cloud that follows me around?

How far from the back did you run into that problem..??

The back of mine, in the Sponsons.. Is boxed in going foward about 4 feet..and that was filled with foam..
If you had any bracing.( Brackets ) buckheads, in your Sponsons.
It's not uncommon, when they glass them in, to suck the hull down when the glass cures..
If you look UNDER your hull, in the tunnel..Just foward of your seats.....
Where the buckhead runs across your hull, in front of your dash.

That buckhead should have sucked your hull in alittle also..
I'm going to smooth that part out with glass.. Like you said the cap is made real lite.. If what you doing doesn't work, let me know I have an Idea. One of my sponsons dips in alittle in the front..Can't tell it, unless you really know the boat. going to run it ,And this coming Winter. fix it and repaint..
My Viper..in front of the Windshield, there's a brace that runs across the hull, When they glassed it in, it to sucked the hull down some.. Just the way glass is..
Being these hulls sit so low in the water, most of my cap is glassed to the bottom on the inside, around the RubRail to keep it from leaking.. That could have pulled your cap down some..?

Keep us updated on this..
Later Larry

I'm not even going to check mine till I get ready to do some real work to the hull..!! LOL ;)
