Has anyone used one of these on a 250xs or other Optimax motors? If so what kind of gains did you see, top end, mid range ect. Also with the cut can will I now be able to run a chopper with less exhaust on my prop?

Thanks Jack

Jack,
It just gets the water out of the exhaust. It doesn't relocate the exhaust.
Here's the thread: http://forums.screamandfly.com/forums/showthread.php?t=101160&highlight=simon+dry
Hope this helps.

If you cut 5" off the can in your midsection like they say to do on the 250xs your exhaust will come out above cav plate. You are right about the water tho.

Thanks Jack

I'm running the poppet mod on my 335HP Simon Motorsports Merc. Not sure of the gains as I've only run it a couple times. I will tell you it looks like a fire hose with all the water dumping out the hole! Eric's Products are top notch.
