Need a measurement on the trailer bunks for locating them to a custom trailer. Need to know how far apart and how tall they are. I know my old one had bunks on the pad and up the V. I can figure the length. Also would like to know the height of the bow stand. Thanx
I'm not sure if the bottom dimensions of the XT are even slightly similar, but my sponsons sit on flat 2x4 outer bunks, and the vee is supported by two inner 2x6 angled bunks that sit right between the lifting strakes. Placement has to be quite accurate here. On mine, the inner edges of the inner bunks are 2' apart. The outer bunks are 5' apart "on center." Shorter outer bunks for the YT hull might be the only difference, I'm not sure.
I would avoid anything that supports the hull by the pad itself. That sounds odd, easy to damage something that way. And the square bunks in the round tunnels like that one guy that lives by you has, that doesn't really seem right either...
I'll be right back, I gotta go drive a couple dozen wood screws into the top of my transom for my wire hold-downs. :D (inside joke)

Yeah, not too fond of his trailer setup at all. I will check at Hydrostream and see how much different the beam is. My 87 YT pad sat flat on 2 bunks. That is what cracked it. Of course, not securing it to the trailer and bouncin all the way from Firewater 2000 didn't help any. I am hopin to set up the bunks so it cradles it better. I am tryin to get the bunks set up on a trailer so i don't have to do any major fabrication when I get to PA to pick it up. Thanx for the measurements. :D
