mirage ski racer

thinking of buying a mirage and putting my merc 2.4 on it won t this be a good thing or is this not enough power for this boat and what is all this talk about the boat out of control at 80 mph i thought these boat ran a lot like a stv pro comp.

A 2.4 would be fine but there is a point where these boats have a hop.Even STV's have a hop.You have to throttle through it sum trim up and then set it down after it flys a little.More power helps you power through this spot.
