Anyone every use these 5" extensions??
Need more height out of room, don't want to use jack plates.

Where does the bolt and nut fit if it has to go underneath the outboard bracket? Surely there has to be a spacer, the plate doesn't look thick enough to be counter sunk?

I dont think I understand your question. The bolts go through the clamp bracket, through the extensions and the transom or jack plate. They are drilled the same as the clamp. Is this what you wanted to know or not? Let me know
