Hi,
I'm new to the forum. I've been lurking and searching archives for a month or so. I also had some offline discussion with Big Al about my merc 200.
Just wanted to get aquainted. I live in north central florida. I"ve got one wife, two kids, and six boats. Only three of the boats have motors, though. The two that are operational are a '87 18' Action Craft FlatsMaster with a '91 XR4 and a '83 20' Seacraft center console with a '99 Merc 200 Carb.
I'm a construction project manager when I'm earning the paycheck. I know just enough about mekaniking to get me in trouble. I like to know how things work. I'll be asking some questions on the technical forum to hopefully keep me from blowing up either of my motors.

Welcome, Blue Heron,
Bring your wife and kids to the runs and meet the family. A great time with some great people is guaranteed.

I may drop in at the Suwannee River gathering at the end of the month. The Suwannee is one of my hang-outs.
Look out for leaping sturgeon, though. They've been thick this year.

Thanks for the welcome and the warnings; both of them. I can stand a few waves and The family knows better than to swim with the gators.
Hope Big Al didn't go to Ford. They ain't lookin' much better.

I manage construction projects for a hospital. Mostly we renovate existing space, but we're getting ready to start a 200 bed expansion.
