Hey i have a 92 20f tunnel hull, i just bought a 2.5 merc it revs up to 7500rpm it should do 100mph, but is it safe at that speed how fast will the hull go without lifting right off the water ?

100 is probably wishfull thinking. The hull needs to fly off the water to reach any high speeds. Any high speeds can be very dangerous especially if you don't have much experience driving your boat. You could get in bad trouble trying to see how fast you can drive the thing long before you reach 100mph.

i have been driving the boat since 1992 , i just got a new motor i had it gooing 95mph at 6600rmp the motor redlines at 7500 im not sure if the boat will be safe at 100mph, when im doing 95 mph there is about 3feet of boat in the water, i just need to know some peoples opinons on if it will be safe at 7500rpm and it should be going round 100mph thanks

Hotboat took the 21 Cougar to over 100 back when John Tiger was writing for them. One article compared the 225 Pro Max, the 2.5L, and the 300. The 2.5 was kissing 100, and the 300 was solidly over. The boat was reputed to be vice free.
