23 Kryptonite

Does anyone have any info on the 23 Kryptonite ? Did the outboard model have any issues with handeling or getting on plane?. I always thought it would be a killer set up. I heard that it didn't work so well with the Sportmaster lower unit, but does anyone have any speed #'s ?? Thanks

I don't know anything about the Kryptonite, but every V-bottom that I put a Sportmaster on, was 5 mph slower than a Fleetmaster or Torquemaster.

The yellow 300X did low 80's. It finished right behind P22 in the GSB SOB.
The blue/white one has a 250. (I talked to the owner last winter. Was doing 68'ish on the limiter with a 24trophyplus. Should easily do low 70's with a 25 or 26.)

I don't know if you want new or not, but I have this new 2007 24ft Checkmate. 100% cored, 22.5 degree bottom, and a new 300xs motor.
