200 xs overheat?

Have a 2002 200XS that goes into guardian mode any time rpms go over
3100. When this occurs water pressure drops from 12-14 to 2-3 untill you let off the throttle. Also runs rough once this occurs even if you key off. What does the water pressure drop sound like? Don't have much hair left to pull out... FSHRMN1010

have you checked the water pump and impeller? if those are ok, i would start chasing the poppet valve (it doesnt sound like it is opening properly)

if you have the sportmaster check the water passage under the two cover for blockage. you problem sounds like mine and the passages were plugged.

MORE FOOD FOR THOUGHT , check the pee hole for a obstruction my new xs's had quite a bit of crap clogging them. the pee hole comes straight from the compresser and it has a heat sensor on it . the temp would climb fast both motors . TUNNEL T
