Very sweet.I have to ask though.I read all about this boat several years ago when it was a big secret and all but have yet to read anything posative about their performance in drag racing.I mean no disrespect by this but did Wally ever get these to run better than the DR-20?

KIM , Great looking boat ! Can't wait to see how you rig it and hear some resaults . ROB , The great sucsess of the DR 20 was in the number of boats and the experts rigging and racing them . Not to take anything from the DR 20 ,but they are supposed to be limited by MPH . Many of those boats have blown over on top end . The purpose in the DRX ,was to try and raise the top end charge at the finish line safely while elimanating some of the risk of blowover . I don't think Wally would have spent the time or money to build a slug , and certainly not released it if it where .After all he already has a top contender in the DR 20 .Why would he want to tarnish his reputation ? Guys dont take my post wrong.That seems to happen a lot.I never said he would be tarnishing anything.I know the 20 has a blow over reputation.I just havent heard anything good or bad about the new DRX in a year or so since there has a been a couple racing.I wish great success with this new design.Again I will say GOOD LUCK.:)

Hey guys, this boat is here in Wetumpka this weekend. I looked it over pretty good today and all I can say is you would not believe how nice it is. It looks much more balanced than the DR20. VERY NICE!!

i got my first look at one in person at wetompka yesterday. great looking boat. i really like the way the nose sticks out farther than the sponsons. i am sure i am wrong but the bottom basically looks like a pad vee with shallow tunnels added. i would have liked to see it run. thinking about running pro carb next year and so i am pondering what hull to run. i would like to get one of these but i am sure there is a long line so i may have to get a dr 20 instead..nice boat ...benji
