Ramp problems? Only once at each ramp. Shoot the offender 6 times, jab a sign in him that says "Bad ramp manners!". Take pics to blow up and post at said ramp and leave him laying there. Seems to work pretty good if you also have naked pictures of the local law enforcement guys. LOL

We have the local cops stay at the ramps on the weekends to try and prevent some of the brawls.

At Lake Powell a few years ago I saw a good one:p The launch ramp is about 1/4 mile long and 10 or so lanes wide, on a holiday weekend it can get backed up for a few hours/miles. I'm just floatin, waiting for my buddy to back my trailer in and enjoying the usual circus. This guy in a boat starts yelling at his wife, who was having little success at getting things squared up and backed in properly. She would get from damn near jack knife position one direction and then the other. Her husband just kept getting madder, louder and more profane, til the point that he finally jumps out of his boat (leaving it in idling in gear, with no one aboard) and swims to the ramp and runs up and literally pulls his wife thru the window of their lifted Blazer and just starts beating the livin sh*t out of her on the ramp. It took about 6 rangers and a hand full of good Samaritans to pull him of of her:eek: Meanwhile his boat is going in circles backwards bouncing off of other boats, buoys, the docks etc. The prop finally got wound up in one of the cables that secure the docks, bringing it too a stop, Geezus what a mess.

I see bad ramp manners all the time. When you have people who take longer to launch their boat then it takes me to launch/load mine by myself, that is just rude.

The ramp is not the place to loosen the transom saver, the tie down straps, put the plug in, and transfer the cooler. You do all of that before you get to the ramp. It is also not the place to do the above in the reverse order either.
