Classic Ski Boat 4 sale16ft 1969 Arrow Classic Ski Boat

This boat is FAST!

I bought this boat a year ago with designs on speed and fun. She more than fit the bill. and have taken good care of her. I replaced the starter, alternator, and battery last summer. I also reinforced the trailer, added a swing away trailer jack, replaced the safety chain with dual coil safety cables, and upgraded to a strap-type winch replacing the old and frayed cable style.

LOA: 16 ft

Draft: 1ft (if that)

Beam: 'bout 4-5ft

Seats: 4

Engine: Blueprinted and BUILT Chevy sb 350 w/ 4-bolt main, crower cam, raw water cooling but run in fresh water only, Edelbrock Torker intake manifold, Holley 4010 (I think that's the right model #), newer Hardin Marine Wet Log type exhaust manifolds, K&N oil filter. This baby will spin at 6200rpm with no problems, and has that classic open V8 hot-rod sound that will most certainly put a big ol' grin on your face! Turn key!

Drive: Berkeley Jet pump blueprinted to the motor for hole shot and skier towing by CP Performance in Rohnert Park. Coupled with the engine there is virtually no time to plane. You put your foot down and you are gone. Has been known to pull multiple skiers.

Top speed: 52knts (60mph) clocked with a handheld GPS against the albeit negligible current on The Delta. Can be much higher with a more aggressive impeller, but if your like me you'd miss gut wrenching acceleration.

What are you looking for? You need short (storage issue)? You want Jet Boat? You like yellow?

If you're wanting a "Classic Jet Boat", that's not one of them. I don't know about "boating season" where you are, but around here the season is about over for this year. If you are selling a boat here, you want it sold before the 4th of July. Boat sales later in the year go for a lot lower price.

Around here $3K for a 37 year old "Brand X" 16' jet with a sbc would probably not happen.

Unless you have some "very special" reason to want that boat, I would pass on it. Keep looking. You should be able to get a true classic 18' with a big block for the same price.

:D

You asked.

Not only that, but somebody doesn't know crap about how a boat is suppose to be tied to a dock.

HARSH......I can't tie up a boat at the dock good. Don't have the rite rope.:o Looks like a old sidewinder, but everyone seemed to pop that style back then. If you bought the boat enjoy it and have FUNN.:D

I looked at the listing on Craig's List. His post reads mostly word for word the same. It reads like he already bought it. Here's the listing....
