There are a few of us in Charleston. On the SC coast, we seem to be few and far between:(

thanks for the info .I'll be on the beach next week watching the shrimpers work offshore.Thinking how cool it would be to see a fast boat in that water.

If you take a look at the intercoastal there isn't much room there. There are some fast boats up near Conway. Limited waterways in the immeadiate vicinity. If you go up to the North side of North Myrtle you might see some fast big boats at Doc(k) Hollywoods. Charleston has at least a dozen or more Allisons. But the coast tends to bring out the offshore boats more than the true speedboats. They stay in the rivers for the most part. I do have to run through the Harbor to get to Shem Creek. Besides Myrtle N & S are tourist traps; drive down to Charleston for a true vacation. Shem Creek restuarants and bars always have a handful of 21'-30'+ offshore boats pulled up to Vickery's, RB's, Waters Edge or Red's Icehouse. We were at Reds last weekend saw several nice boats. I am on the water almost every day weather permitting. Headed out in a few minutes; waiting on my partner now.
