I believe stock at sea level is supposed to be ~145#. I have found that for every 500' elevation you add, take away 2psi of cranking compression. Just my findings - not law. :)

What is your altitude there? How many hours on the motor? Anything done to it? Modified ports can also play with cranking compression.

keith...im 620 feet aboue sealevel..motor has not had anything done to it that i know of..tech at mercury marine told me today that 130#. now when i ran the check..it was with a cold motor...just dont run right.. will it harm the engine to run it...i got my injectors and computer off getting injectors cleaned..and computer checked out...
