help with my new 90hp evenrude etec

traded in my 2004-90hp johnson 2 stroke for 2006 evenrude etec.

johnson -ss 13 1/2in x17 pitch prop(wot-5300rpm 40mph)
evenrude-same prop--------------(wot 4200rpm 30mpr) thier both 2-1 ratio

dealer ,said change prop to 13 1/2 15 pitch alum.
i did--(wot 5000rpm 32.7 mph)

where do i go from hear?????????how do i get my speed back????

dealer,try ss 13 1/2 in x 15 pitch---and raize the motor one hole.

Was the old motor a 60 Deg V4?, if it was it had way more torque than that E-Tec has. Just my ignorant opinion.I do not know anything about that E-Tec heard they were good motors but I think you went down in cubic inches with the same hp rating.
