I was on Lake Norman this morning, trying to catch some fish with the fog up.

There was only a few boats out. I ran flat out for 8 miles. not been able to do that in a long time.

Thanks Chuck - I'm waiting for Maureen to send me the more images of your boat that I took at the ramp. The sunset image would have been much better had I not overloaded the camera sensor (clipping highlights and causing the light banding you see on some of the boats). Oops. :)

Frank - I have more of you too, but I wish so badly the sun wasn't obscured by clouds for most of the night. Metalflake boats look amazing when the light is just right. I will get a great photo of your boat before I head back to FL. Yes, enlargements will be available on Kodak Professional metallic paper (http://www.kodak.com/global/en/professional/products/papers/enduraMetallic/main.jhtml?id=0.1.20.14.24.30&lc=en), which looks amazing.

Last night was tough - it was rather dark and evening sun looks nice, but it's not very good for action shots. I was shooting mainly at ISO 400, F/4. I also think the autofocus on my camera needs to be adjusted.

This was my first trip To Tanner Park. My son Erik and I had a great time with everyone ripping it up wed. night. We came from Center Moriches by water that night. This photo is like a flashback for me ! Thats how I got the bug , in a hydro . It looks to be a Bezoats Hydro constructed in N. J. by the Bowmans a famous builder in Stock Outboard Racing . I know the young man involved is having the time of his life . Good job Dad !!!!!

I have the Black boat in the pic. It is an Eagle SST120. I have a stock 200 hp Merc. with a shorten mid section. Wed night I was still breaking in the motor after some work to it.
