lower unit ????

I have a 2.1 lower unit off of a 200 mercury. I was told it was an 84,85,or 86 model because it has a nipple on top of driveshaft. Any way i was wonder where i could buy a new reverse gear and clutch dogs. A guy i know said they are hard to find parts for. If you know any links where i can get them, please let me know.

Go to the buy and sell section and post in the wanted section. I'm sure you'll get a response, and at a better price than new parts

I dont really want to put used parts in and have to do it again a few months down the road. I would just get another lower unit but this one already has low water pickup and nose cone.

It sounds like you have a "pre-load" type lower. I have one, but the gears
are 1.87:1 not 2:1
