water preasher guage

I am having a water preasher guage problem hopefully somone can help , I have a 1986 baja with 1986 evinrude xp 200 . The guage worked fine until I needed to take the heads off to get helicoils installed . I dont know if this is just a coinsident or not . I tested these components but no luck , I disconected line at the t at idle water shoots out good , I blew the line through with 150lbs compressed air and it pegs needle . can anyone help thanks mark?

I would think 150 psi probably tweeked your gauge. :cool:

I was out in the boat on monday for about an hour when all of a sudden the water preasure guage started working ? I dont unerstand .

it sounds like it may have been air bound and only needed to be vented.

Sounds like maybe a bug made a home (for a while) in your line!
