Took the boat out tonight, first time in a month that the temp dropped below 90. First hard pass on the gps was 103 with just the 2 of us. Dropped her off at the dock to back the trailer in, and made a solo pass. Hit new best of 107. She was very upset that I picked up 4 mph with just getting her out of the boat.(she only weighs 125 lbs
Anyway to get the topspeed numbers I feel like I have to trim it into the dangerzone. I don't know if I am gaining speed by getting the hull really out of the water, or that I am just getting the motors more in the powerband.
running 15/32s at 7000rpm = 103mph normal trim 2people
7000rpm = 96mph 4 people lots of trim
7500rpm = 107 one less person light load, nose super high and lots of trim.
All runs in flat water no chop
Any Ideas on getting the nose down but keeping the speed
