No VIN # on my 79 Action

I was wondering if any of you guys ever ran into this. I just relized that there is no factory imprint / stamp of the ID numbers on this 79 Action Marine Ventura. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place, on the transom, starboard side. I know the cops can be tough about this. You would think I would'of come across it, during the restoration. :confused:

They have always been scribed on the hull close to the transom rite on the wing starboard side. Also required by law there is a hidden HIN # it should be locaded on the deck underneith the deck molding passenger side where the coast caurd plate is. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help, I'll take a look. This boat, the top/deck is glassed to to the hull. If I can't find one, I will just have to make a VIN # plate.
