After a wait of just about a full year we finally got the block we ordered after our customer placed his order for the 528cuin. Hemi. The wait was long but we are very satisfied. Beautiful machine work with rough finish bore and .010 to work with for the 528 cuin. engine and the walls are plenty thick enough to go to the 572 if wanted too! (they told me it would be but I sonic'd the walls just in case and they aint joking!) Here are some pics of what we have been doing at the shop this week. Torque plates are on and tomorrow it gets bored and honed.

We decided to go with all Mopar perf. parts as well as aluminum heads too. Heres a couple more to drool at.

good to see you with a big mopar to play with. What is it going to end up in? Jeff and I were talkin Sunday about trying to get together and make a run up were you guys were playing a few weeks back. We will be in touch if we can get it together.

It will end up in a 68 Charger RT with our 727 behind it too as well as Dana 60 and 4.10 gear, should make for a fun ride.:cool:

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn, good luck and please DO let us see some pics of her shreddin the tires (and any punks who pull up beside her!). ;)

I'm gettin tired of these dorks and the new V10s in 60s-70s vintage muscle. The V8 Hemi is what is SUPPOSED to be between the fenders of a classic MOPAR!!! :cool:

Single 4 bbl 1150 Dominator on top, 650+ HP @ 6800/7200 RPM on pump gas!
Heres a little comparison to a 350 sbc bore.

AHHHHHHHHH, brangz back sum ov them good ole memoriez!!!!...I kin still smell tha H&H blue!!!....

I thought we had reely tapped tha main HP well in thoze ole hemi'z back in tha early 70's...Man, neva knew they wuz dat much leff till Ray got hiz handz on one!!:eek:

We usta joke about them ole top fuel HEMI'z rattl'in tha ground when they run...Garlits said that it wuzn't tha mota make'in HP, it wuz tha chevy an ford boyz trembl'in from feer when ya lite up tha HEMI!!!...Tha ole man prolly wuz rite...agin!!!
