Does anyone have any realworld mpg figures for this outboard? I am considering one and would like some feedback... Thanks FSHRMN1010

I had a 200xs ss on a Hydrostream V-king that use to get 8 mpg (Canadian Gallon) when cruising. That was on a 675lb boat. Hope this helps.

2005 - 200XS

Replaced a 200ProMax

Comparison:

Power - Tough to tell tell apart from my old ProMax very similar powerband
Noise - Opti a little quieter from the driver seat, has kind of a turbo sound in mid range.
Fuel consumption - 200XS 40 - 50% better in mid range about 20% WOT.
Idle - 200XS is nicer.

This is a great motor. I've only got about 10hrs on it though.

two real world numbers. i have full smartcraft with gps. the system will read up to 7.4 mpg on a hydrostream voyager[1988]. the first year i had the motor and the son was using it, we went thru 75 gallon per weekend. this is compared to the 150 with the 200efi. its a great motor in my opinion.
