Bull**** fuel surcharge,from Mercuty parts exspress??

I dont know if this has been posted or not. I just ordered a set of jets from a local dealer and was charged $3.50 for a fuel surcharge. I think this is bull****. If 20 people order items on the same day,that 60 plus extra dollars were paying. Has anyone else had this issue or is this just one of the benefits of living in NJ?? I will be calling Mercury shortly and complain. Lee NJ One other thing, the dealer slipped and said the jets were 1.89 each(oops thats list) so ther already banging you with a 100percent mark up to charge 3.75. wheres the Vodka!!

Just because they are merc, they get free gasoline? not their fault if the dealer gave you the sausage. Since when has boating been cheap, anyhow?

in 1985 an XR2 150 merc cost $7000... a 150 carb motor 20 years later cost, oh so much more, at $8000 LOL

20 years ago, gas wasn't 3.15 for a gallon of super either.:rolleyes: Also people weren't flying planes into building:eek: . The avg. house wasn't over 250 grand:( . Times have changed.;) Chuck.
