For anybody wanting to go to SITC but not sure what you'll run in 1000', KDBA will be setting up a 1000' marker at their last race of the year in Livermore, Ky. They said there would be a 1 time $50 membership plus the normal entry fee to run. The dates are Aug 26 and 27. This is a great oppertunity to get some runs at the clock. They will hold their normal 1/4 mile race but just have an extra sensor set up at 1000'. There is a lot of work involved to set the course up but we are hoping for a good turnout of new boats. If you have any questions please contact myself, Ray Neudecker or you can go to www.kdba.net for their rules.

Things you gotta have, a boat #, rope deflector, lifeline type vest, helmet, helmet restraints, kill switch.

Hope to see some new faces there

I know SLDBA used to do that at New Athens as well. We'll have to put a bug in their ear to see if they can do it this year. They didn't do it last year. If I could get down there early enough, I'd go help them set the course up, but they're 6 hours away from me so I can't get there on Thursday to set it up with them.

As of right know there is a couple people supposedly going. But, you know how it is, things change day by day.

Hey Rick, We are thinking seriously about it. If plans don't change. I would be traveling through there anyway on my way to Texas so I may as well stop and race a little. As for the tune up, I guess we'll have to wing it!!!
Hope to see ya'll there.
