In 39 years of boating,I have seen enough rotten wood to last the rest of my life(from Glastrons to Hydrostreams to Ralley Sports, etc).I know that care is the biggest factor, but the Ralley Sport NEVER SPENT ONE NIGHT OF IT"S LIFE OUTSIDE SINCE NEW!!!All things being equal, which brands of boats hold up the best and rot the slowest?I know, get one with no wood:but due to finances now,I need to look at hulls a few years old.

Allison Grandsport Yea one thing when you buy one just dont even think about haveing a hull problem!!!! They are the best built boat by miles and miles!!
Just sold mine (1991) the hull still looked like new!!
Bought a 1994 Motion and it has be in the boat shop for like 6 weeks now and have had it for like 10 weeks! aaaahhhh
Get a Ally you can never go wrong!!
