New Truck

I ordered a new truck a couple weeks ago, have a Chevy 1500HD 4 door crew cab w/short bed on the way. The Yellow and Black Allison just didn't look good behind that White truck so the New truck is Black of course, well I really needed more room carring stuff to the races for 2 boats this year. Should be here this coming week.

Hey what motor do you have in that chev?? 5.3 or 6.0 ?? Just wanting what kind of gas milage you are getting. I have a new ford 150 and the gas milage sucks!!!! 13-15 mpg . my next truck will be the new toyota tundra or maybe a chev. I have heard that they ( chevrolet) are having some problems with the 5.3 eng. knock when under heavy loads?? Have you had any problems?? Good luck!!! It sure look like a nice ride!!

Does toyota make a truck, lol, hey a friend of mine has a newr Chevy with a 6.0 in it, he uses the truckeveryday, for his landscaping and lawncare business, and in the winter he plows sown, but then he is done with work, he thrashes on that thing, has flomastersa and some things done to it...and that truck never misses a beat, it is STRONG. Hell of a motor that 6.0 is. Just incase you are thinging of one :)

Thanks for all the compliments, I'm very happy with the whole thing.

ZRX the HD doesn't come w/5.3 either a 6L or a diesel. Gas milage ain't great 12mpg when I towed the boat(truck only had 250 miles on it) 13.6 the only time I checked it (only 1000 miles on it now)

Oh i was just curios if you were thinking any bug deflectors, or headlight/tail light covers, bed covers, exhaust tips, mufflers, K&N, that kind of stuff.
I have an old GMC, 86 actually, I have Flowmasters, stainless tips, headlight covers, American Racing Rims, tonue cover, sound system, and a few small other things. Next on list is to upgrade front suspension and rebuild motor....needs it bad, lol.:)
